(More customer reviews)Let me first say I love this design!I bought them for my home theater to display collectibles.The finish work on the the metal bracket is the onlyflaw here. The bracket is cast in a cheap metal then painted with a gray finish enamel paint.The paint on the two I ordered was imperfect in that it has flakes of paint missing, and air bubbles in it...very poorly done.
Well, I liked the design so much I made it work by sanding down the paint, then painting it with a flat black spray paint.You can't even tell it did not come that way from the outset!The air bubbles and flakes of paint are gone and the finish is flawless.I have ordered three more for other parts of the room and will be giving them the same treatment.
